                                       Coals to Newcastle - Version 6 Route Map Preview

You can preview the route map for Coals to Newcastle Version 6 using Tim Booth's excellent TrackViewer(0.98) program. It 
should be noted that earlier versions will not be able to view this route due to the enhanced features of V0.98.

To preview the route you will need to download Tim's program and the self-installing exe file
<< ctn_v6(1)_preview.exe >> and install these on your computer.

Track view V0.98 allows importing and exporting of routes so it can be left permanently installed without causing any 
problems with MSTS.

Installation -

i) Download TrackViewer and the CTN V6 Preview file.
ii) Run the TrackViewer self installing exe file "tsf_tv_v0.98_setup.exe"
iii) Run the self installing exe file "ctn_v6_preview.exe" This will install the necessary files into the 
"ROUTES" folder in a folder called << ctn_v6_preview >>.
iv) Follow the instructions below to view the route

To view route -

i) Start Trackviewer
ii) Select the "Import" function under the file menu.
iii) Select the file "ctn_v6_preview.tvr" in the dialog window. This file will be found in the folder 
<< ctn_v6_preview >> in the routes folder of MSTS.
iii) Select desired options to view the different parts of the route.
