Model Details Original 3D model of AD60 class locomotive - by Joseph Spinella - Email: jspinella2000@hotmail.com Repaint, add-on, upgrade and additional loco - by Brian Bere-Streeter Joseph Spinella originally created an excellent AD60 class Beyer-Garratt locomotive No 6017. Thank you Joseph - for allowing me to repaint your model for more variety for NSWGR enthusiasts. Thise new loco came about, because of a need to create authentic train formations for use on the Microsoft Train Simulator route - 'Coals to Newcastle' - by Peter Newell. To allow the creation of authentic train formations the following loco was added: - 6009 This loco was added to allow creation of goods trains with double-headed AD60 class garratts, without the same locomotive number appearing twice!!! Also included is a revised texture file for the original loco 6017 – garratts were either numbered on the ends of the tank/bunker OR on the buffer beam, not in both places – so, this variation gives the variety of appearances for both locomotives, one each with numbering in different positions. This model is for your personal use only, and may not be sold or distributed in any way without the original creator's and re-painter's permissions. =========================================== 2. Installation Notes This locomotive is designed to be placed in the same folder as the original locomotive - in most cases this will be a folder called <<< AU_garratt >>>. You will need to create either a new consist to use these locomotives, or add them to an existing consist. Consists are made, or edited, using MSTS Activity Editor or Carlos Gomes’s ConBuilder. Consists have been included for each locomotive only as a Light Engine, just to get you started. Visit http://www.railpage.org.au/steam4me/trainsim for a tutorial in creating a consist. =========================================== 3.
