1. Model Details

S-Truck Add-on loads - by Brian Bere-Streeter

Joseph Spinella originally created an excellent open S-Truck, but it did not have any visible loads.

These new wagons came about, because of a need to create authentic train formations for use on the Microsoft Train 
Simulator route - 'Coals to Newcastle' - by Peter Newell.

To allow the creation of authentic train formations the following wagons were added:

S-Truck with small lump coal
S-Truck with large lump coal (loco coal)
S-Truck with large packing crate
S-Truck with large timber overhanging one end
S-Truck with large timber overhanging both ends
S-Truck with vertical loaded pit props
S-Truck with small load under tarpaulin
S-Truck with tall load under tarpaulin
S-Truck with large bulky load under tarpaulin
S-Truck with small load under tarpaulin NSWGR
S-Truck with tall load under tarpaulin NSWGR
S-Truck with empty 44-gal drums

These models are for your personal use only, and may not be sold or distributed in any way without the original creator's 
and re-painter's permissions.

2. Installation Notes

You MUST HAVE the original S-Truck file set by Joseph Spinella installed in accordance with his installation notes. To save 
file space some original files are NOT included, when the new wagons are placed in the correct folder, they will 
automatically link into the required files.

These wagons are designed to be placed in the same folder as the original wagons - in most cases this will be a folder 
called    <<<   AU_nswStruck   >>>

Note: You must have the “Australian 4-wheeler Sound Set” installed which is available from the Steam4me site.

To install the set, double click on the self installing EXE file and follow the instructions.

Unzip the files into a temporary folder, then copy and paste all of the files straight into the existing S-Truck folder 
(check the name to be sure).

You will need to create either a new consist to use these wagons, or add them to an existing consist. Consists are made, 
or edited, using MSTS Activity Editor or Carlos Gomes’s ConBuilder.

Don’t forget when using the wagons with overhanging timber loads, to place a low open wagon or flat wagon under the 
overhanging ends as a barrier wagon.
