In the 1924 Numbering system they were known as the Z19 Class (pre 1924 - A(93) Class). The fact that many lasted in service for nearly 100 years is a testament to their usefulness, with the last one being withdrawn from service in August 1972. For most of there years of service they could be seen operating on pioneer type branch lines or shunting in large goods yards, like Darling Harbour. ============================================ 4.
